Women Build 2020
According to the National Women’s Law Center, more than one in seven women and more than one in five children live in poverty. More than half of those children live in families headed by women, and most do not have a spouse’s income to rely on to support their family.
Women Build is Habitat for Humanity’s program for women who want to learn construction skills and build homes and communities. This program brings together women from all walks of life to address the housing crisis facing millions of women and children worldwide. Our women build homes are constructed by over 75 percent of female volunteers from our community.

Interfaith Build
Habitat for Humanity of Utah County is a unique vehicle for people to put their faith and love into action. Building with Habitat gives people of all faiths an opportunity to step outside their place of worship and create a community of compassion through service.
Above all, Habitat for Humanity is a partnership founded on common ground—bridging theological differences by putting love into action. Here in Utah County, we have 42 different Faiths. Imagine, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs and Atheists partnering together to build homes for people in need in our community.
Habitat believes everyone can use a hammer as an instrument to manifest God’s love. While we may disagree on many issues, we can agree that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. And when we work together to build homes, we begin to build a society defined by compassion, mutual respect, and unity.
Collaborate with other faith communities and plan a faith build with us in 2020! Please contact Nancy Mickiewicz at nancym@habitatuc.org for more information.
